Description

Document Name
|
Allows you to enter a name for the document you are posting which will be displayed to the user.
|
Downloadable Document
|
Select this checkbox if you want to allow your web customers to download the electronic media associated to the document from the website.
|
Internal Name
|
Allows you to enter an internal name for the document file you are posting. This name will not be visible to customers but may be useful when searching for the document in order to edit.
|
Order Request Page
|
Allows you to select an order request page template where users that want to order a hard copy of the document (printed catalog for example) can enter their mailing address where they want the document to be sent.
|
Category
|
Allows you to select a category for the media file you want to upload.
|
Document Class
|
Allows you to select a document class for the media file(s) you want to upload for the document.
Important: If media files are already associated to a document, you cannot change the document class unless the new document class uses the same document handling code. Otherwise, you will need to remove all associated media files, change the document class and then re-upload the media file(s).

Media Tab
|
Displays details of the media file(s) associated to the document.
|
Description Tab
|
Allows you to enter a description of the media file and format it using the formatting tools provided.
|
Image Tab
|
Thumbnail Image
|
Allows you to search for and select a thumbnail image that you want to attach to your media file.
|
Alt Text
|
Allows you to enter alternative text for the thumbnail image you select.
|
Save
|
Allows you to save your changes without closing the window.
Important: When posting a new document for the first time you cannot upload any electronic media files associated until the document is first saved. Click the Save button once you are done selecting and entering the parameters for the document you want to post. Once you do so, an Add New button will appear, enabling you to browse for and select the media file you want to post.

Save And Close
|
Allows you to save your changes and close the window.
Important: Always click the Save button first before you upload your media file, otherwise you will have to navigate back to the Advanced Document Post page to complete the posting of your media file. Once your media file is uploaded, then you can click the Save and Close button.
