Coupon Functionality & Workflow
Coupons in KommerceServer’s storefront can optionally be self-promoting so the customer can be made aware of any specials and promotions while customers are browsing the website. If a customer browses to a listing of products where coupons may qualify, the coupon control becomes visible in the landing page for that product listing.
Users can click the “View Promotions” link to see the relevant coupons that may apply based on the products they are viewing. The following image displays an example of the “View Promotions” link.

The following image displays an example of the “View Promotions” pop-up window as it appears on a shopping page.
This pop-up window will display the available coupons that are defined as non-private only and relevant to the products being viewed. The pop-up can only be dismissed as redeeming the coupon can only be done during checkout.
