Event Log Notification Line Item
Purpose
To define the fields to be included in the event log notification properties.
Available Toolbar Commands

Click the Done icon in the toolbar to save the current line item and return to the export specifications main page.

|
Click the Add icon in the toolbar to save the current line item, clear all fields and keep the window open so that you can add another line item, which will be the last line number available.

|
Click the Remove icon in the toolbar to delete the current line item, close the window and return to the export specifications page.
|
|
|
Click the Up icon in the toolbar to move the line item up in the line item list relative to the other line items, thereby decreasing the current line item number. Click Done or Add to save your change.

|
Click the Down icon in the toolbar to move the line item down in line item list relative to the other line items, thereby increasing the current line item number. Click Done or Add to save your change.

Click the Help balloon to open the help for this page.
|
Important: to save any changes you make after creating or editing Line Items you must save your changes using the Save toolbar command.

Prerequisites
If you create a filter to send an e-mail notification, the template that you specify must be created using E-mail Message Templates and must be written for the proper e-mail message template context. In this case, the context passed is the event log record that is about to be logged.
Cautions
Be careful not to create a filter with all the filter fields blank and log set to N. This can prevent most or all events from being logged, making it difficult to detect and debug issues
Line Item Properties

Displays the order sequence for the event log filter.
|

Schedule/Service
|
Select a Kourier schedule/service that must be running.
|
|
Source
|
Enter the name of the program or subroutine that must generate the event.
|
|
Event
|
Enter the ID of the event that must be generated.
|
|
Type
|
Select the Severity of the event that must be generated.
|
|
Email
|
Select the e-mail message template for Kourier to use when sending an e-mail notification when an event triggers this filter. Select (none) if no e-mail notification is to occur for this filter.

|
Log
|
This field controls whether events that trigger this filter get updated into the event log or if they are simply dropped.
To log events that trigger this filter click the checkbox
To prevent events that trigger this filter from being updated into the event log, leave this unchecked.
