Coupon Redemption
The coupon redemption dialog box appears on the Shopping Cart page. The following image displays an example of the Coupon Redemption dialog box.
Web customers can enter known coupon keys for redemption or click the “View Promotions” link to see the non-private promotional coupons that may apply.
The following image displays an example of the pop-up window that appears when you click the “View Promotions” link on the Shopping Cart page.
This pop-up window will only show those coupons that are relevant to what the web customer has in their cart. At this point, a user can redeem the coupon by entering the proper coupon key for the corresponding promotion. If the user enters an invalid coupon key or the coupon is not valid for some reason, an error message is displayed to the web customer within the coupon redemption control dialog box. The following image displays an example of an error message that displays when a customer enters a wrong coupon code.
Possible error responses include:

Coupon is not available at this time (Start Date in the future)

Coupon has Expired (Today is later than End Date)

Minimum Quantity not met

Not a valid coupon key (Shown above)
The following image displays an example of shopping cart with a coupon code applied.
The description of the coupon is displayed to the web customer and the coupon can be removed on demand.
