User Definition Page

The User Definition page allows you to view, or modify a user's account information. You can also use this page to add a new user account definition. For information on adding a new User Definition, refer to the Adding a New User Definition topic. The User Definition page opens when you perform one of the following options:

When viewing the User Definition page for an existing user, you can perform the following tasks:

  • Update the display name.
  • Enable or disable web access for the user by selecting the Web Access checkbox.
  • Force the user to change their password on their next login by selecting the Force Password change on next Login checkbox.
  • Delete and existing user role for the user.
  • Add new existing role(s) for the user.
  • Set a temporary password by clicking the Set Temporary Password account button.
  • Email a temporary password to the user's email address by clicking the Email Temporary password button.
  • Delete the user's account.

When you click the Delete button, the user's account is deleted immediately without any warnings. Be sure you want to delete the user's account before you click this button.
