Access Group Listing Page
An additional layer of security is provided in the form of Access Groups which are user-defined. Access Groups can be associated to one or more products and will then be restricted from access in the storefront regardless of general security provisions. Customers must have an explicit assignment of an Access Group in order to view and purchase products within the associated Access Group. This feature was designed for contract manufacturers that produce products exclusively for customers but it has a generic design which can be re-purposed. You can navigate to the Access Group Listing page by selecting Store Management>Access Groups. The following image shows an example of the Access Group Listing page.
You can assign Access Groups to a customer listing or an Item Master (Mfg) item.
