User Role Definition Page

The User Role Definition page opens when you click the New button on the User Role Listing page. It allows your to add a new user role definition in KommerceServer. For more information on user roles, refer to the User Roles Overview topic. The following example shows an example of the User Role Definition page.

Adding a New User Role Definition

Perform the following steps to add a new User Role definition.

  1. Navigate to the User Role Listing page.
  2. Click the New button. The User Role Definition page opens.

  1. Enter a description of the new user role in the Description field.
  2. If you want to auto assign this role to new user accounts, select the Auto Assign for New Accounts checkbox.
  3. If you want to assign a specific home page to this user role, enter the URL in the Home Page field.
  4. Click Save to save your changes.
