Kourier Integrator Online Help
Use this page to test the delivery of email from Kourier Integrator to other addresses. This will validate that the Data Source Name for the SMTP Queue is configured properly.
On Microsoft Windows systems only, setup a Data Source Name for KS_SMTP Queue using the Data Source Name page.
Field Name |
Description - Usage - Notes |
Send From |
Enter the sender's email address or a substitution literal. The sender's address may be a literal string such as sales@koretech.com. Unlike the Send To field, you may not specify multiple email addresses as most SMTP servers will reject this formatting. |
Send To |
Enter the recipient's email address or a substitution literal. To enter multiple recipient addresses, separate each address using a semicolon. |
Send CC |
Enter the recipient's email address for carbon copy or a substitution literal. To enter multiple recipient addresses, separate each address using a semicolon. |
Send BCC |
Enter the recipient's email address for blind carbon copy or a substitution literal. To enter multiple recipient addresses, separate each address using a semicolon. Note: The blind carbon copy recipient's email address is not visible to the primary recipient or any normal carbon copy recipients. |
Subject |
Enter the subject line for this test or a substitution literal. The subject line may be a literal string such as Thank you for ordering from Kore Technologies. |
Attachments |
Enter the full path name of a file to send as an attachment to this email or a substitution literal. The field may be a literal string such as d:\dbms\live\attachments\mydoc.xls. To enter multiple attachments, separate each full path name using a semicolon. The full path name may not reference an item ID in a hashed file. Note: The path name must be recognized by the U2 server not your local PC. |
Message |
Enter the actual text of the message. The message can be either plain text or in HTML format. In either case, substitution literals may be referenced in the message to cause dynamic data to be substituted into the message when Kourier sends it as an email. By default you are editing in WYSIWYG mode and you can style the text using the available toolbar icons. If you want to switch to TEXT mode to either enter plain text or see the HTML source, press the "<>" icon in the toolbar. |
After the fields above have been entered, press the Submit button to send the test email.
If you do not receive the email, check the spelling of all the email addresses entered. Then check to make sure the KS_SMTP queue is defined correctly. On NT systems, the SMTP server must be directly accessible from the U2 server and must be configured to route intranet and Internet emails. On UNIX, sendmail must be configured to properly route intranet and Internet emails.
