How do I use the new Online Help Search
Feature?
Searching the new Kourier help system is easy and
supports wildcard searches using the Asterisk (*) and question mark (?)
to represent one or more characters when you are searching the help topics
and you do not know what the real character is or you do not want to type
the entire name.
- Use the asterisk (*) as a substitute for zero or more characters.
For example search for Index* will find topics containing the
word Index, Indexes and
Indexed.
- Use the question mark (?) as a substitute for a single character in a
word. For example, Index? will find topics containing the
word Indexes but not Indexed.
- Note: the wildcard characters can be used together for more complicated
searches.
You can also use the quote (") character to surround a complete word or
phrase when you want to find an exact match.
- For example, using the search term "Data Export" will
find topics containing only the phrase ""Data Export" but
not "Data Exports"
- Note: wild cards characters are not supported when using quotes for
your search.
