KT.RESIZE file.name | * {CONCURRENT} {(S}
This program can be used to resize a Kourier application file. You should run this command as part of your normal file maintenance activities because:
file.name |
The name of Kourier application file or "*" to resize all Kourier application files. |
CONCURRENT |
An optional parameter that allows for the resizing of a file when users are on the system. This option is only supported on UNIX UniVerse systems. |
(S |
An optional parameter that suppresses the "Are you sure prompt". |
Kourier application files should be resized periodically. Failure to do so may affect the performance of your application.
Unless you specify the CONCURRENT option, this command should not be executed when other uses are on the system since it uses the RESIZE command to reclaim the unused disk space associated with the file.
In this example, the Kourier net change log for the CUSTOMER file is resized.
