Kourier Integrator - Release Notes

Corrected  the installation software to not overwrite the connections.config file if it already exists. Otherwise it will create an empty connections.config file. Installation
Resolved an issue with the KT.SETFILE command on UniData systems that caused and unopened file error. U2 Server
Added the ability to use Net Change with Checksum on ODBC type exports, providing the ability to limit the number of records selected for processing. U2 Server
Corrected an issue on all U2 Export Specifications that prevented changes to the Export File Names field from being saved prior to running the "Test" toolbar command. GUI
Resolved an issue that prevented the Generate Packages toolbar command from working within a Service if the Service contained an ODBC type export. GUI
Corrected an installation issue the prevented dictionaries for the KT.DELLOG file from loading, which caused ODBC Net Change with Deletes processing to fail. Installation
Changed the progress messages displayed while processing ODBC Net Change with Deletes to show the correct row count. U2 Server
Changed the Message Log Size and Runtime Stats Log Size fields on the Kourier Configuration page to use default values if they are null, ensuring that the Kourier Message Log size is maintained properly. U2 Server
Modified the KMK.SERVICE command to provide additional command status information, enabling success/failure to be tested from UniBASIC code. U2 Server
Changed output of the KMK.VERSION command to use the string "Kourier Integrator" instead of "Kourier for U2". U2 Server
Changed the default Notification Threshold parameter used when generating SSIS package from zero (0) back to its prior value of 1800. SQL Accelerator
Resolved an issue that caused the Test toolbar command to stop working on all Export Specification pages. GUI
Corrected an issue that prevented the user from adding a new file to the Quick Start Workbench. GUI
Resolved an issue that prevented the user from entering code on various pages within the system containing the "<" and ">" characters. GUI

Resolved an issue on U2 Export Specifications that prevented data from being returned when using virtual dictionaries or returning incorrect data from sub-valued fields. U2 Server
Resolved an issue for ODBC to SQL type Export Specifications that prevented the Generate Packages toolbar command from working. GUI
Changed the system behavior to default the selected column name to the Target Column when adding a new column to an ODBC to SQL Export using the SQL Columns Selection page GUI

Resolved an issue that caused an error when the user tried  to delete an ODBC to SQL Export Specification. GUI
Added the ability to use non-BCI (Basic Calling Interface) supported data types (e.g., SMALLINT, BIGINT) to the ODBC to SQL Export Specification via the CAST function. U2 Server
Changed the export format to default to TAB for the following Export Specification pages: U2 to File, ODBC to SQL, U2 to SQL. Removed the Export Format field from each of these pages. GUI
Corrected an issue with the installation program (KT.SETUP) that prevented the VOC from getting setup properly when installing multiple accounts. Installation
Improved the error messages generated by SSIS Packages to include the root directory and associated Windows error code. SQL Accelerator
Changed the maximum length for date fields to 35 characters on ODBC to SQL Export Specifications to prevent string to date conversion errors. U2 Server

Increased the size of the Name field to 25 characters on the Data Source page. GUI
Improved compatibility with systems that have removed the "!" command from the VOC so that Kourier can still execute O/S commands. U2 Server
Added support for the Hush option ("H") with the KT.EXECUTE command. This eliminates unnecessary file opens and capturing of screen output, which provides  increase overall performance. U2 Server
Corrected an issue on UniData/Windows systems that caused the wrong end of line character to be used with certain configurations. U2 Server
Enhanced the EXPORT-DELETES option for U2 to RESTful Export Specifications to support processing items from a SELECT statement without having to physically read each item ID. U2 Server
Resolved an issue that prevented a RESTful Web Services export from running when calling it from the generated URL. GUI
Improved file management and implemented file caching for all Kourier application files, resulting in an overall increase in system performance. U2 Server
Corrected an issue the caused the KT.MOVETABLES command to not work on UniData systems. U2 Server

Corrected an issue with the KEXPORT verb that would generate an unassigned variable error under some conditions. U2 Server
Changed the system to allow the SSIS URL to be configured for different target ETL servers on an integration by integration basis. U2 Server
Changed the system to handle Message KMK-015 as an Error and not a Warning. U2 Server
Added the ability to access to the last changed date in the KT_CHGLOG file. U2 Server
Added support for using UniBASIC SOAP extensions instead of Java to execute SSIS packages. This may improve performance on some systems and is only available when using UniVerse 10.1 and higher or UniData 7.1 and higher. U2 Server
Resolved an issue with the "Test" command for Export Specifications that caused the wrong file name to be used when testing an export that used the Related Files feature. GUI
Changed the system to include a prompt for the Notification Threshold when creating or rebuilding an SSIS Package. GUI
Changed the Define Integration page to only allow alphanumeric characters within an Integration ID to resolve issues relating to the Integration quick filters. GUI
Changed the event type that is associated with logging system interface details from TRACE to DEBUG to make the event log more manageable. U2 Server
Added a SSIS Package timeout to the Generate SSIS Packages batch build page to prevent the system from becoming unresponsive. GUI
Modified the Unpack Suitcase process to properly compile and catalog any items related to KORE-PROGS. U2 Server
