KT.UNINSTALL

Description

This program can be used to remove all Kourier software from a properly configured user account. After the command is entered at TCL, the user will be asked to confirm their intention to remove the Kourier software from the current account.  If a Y is enter the program will:

1. Remove all net change indexes for files local to the account.
2. Remove all Kourier files (i.e. KT_EXPORTS, KT_SERVICES) local to the account.
3. Remove all Kourier work files (i.e. KT_WFnnnn) local to the account.
4. Remove all remote file pointers to the KOURIER account.
5. Remove all BASIC catalog pointers.
6. Update the KOURIER account registry.

The program will display a number of messages on the screen as it executes.  A copy of all messages will be captured in a COMO file named KT.UNINSTALL_internal.date_internal.time.  This file can be found in the _PH_ file on UniData systems and in the &COMO& file on UniVerse systems.

Caution: Before running this command, it is highly recommendated that an archive of all Kourier components be made by executing the KT.KOURIERSC command at TCL.
